Since more than 35 years, SMRE Automatisierungstechnik GmbH is a global supplier of automation solutions for the automotive industry. Driven by digitisation, it is our objective to actively support in particular automotive groups in the age of Industry 4.0 as a one-stop solution provider in the field of automation and robot technology, hardware engineering, software engineering and lasers, including installation and putting into operation.
Founded in 1981 as a family owned business, the company started with the development of tailor-made measurement, control and electrical engineering for power plants and other energy producing systems. In 2005, as one of the first companies SMRE Automatisierungstechnik GmbH shifted its focus to automobile production and ever since convinces with its expertise in the automation of plants for the production of vehicles.
